WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

Daycare starts from $52 plus gst a day, including our pup bus service and depends on the number of days and which day you come.

CAN WE COME AND HAVE A LOOK?

Absolutely! we invite all families out for a personal tour and complimentary day of daycare.

What does a typical day look like for the dogs?

We have created a ‘day in the life’ as we get asked this question a lot! Please take a look here.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Our farm is in Kumeu, just 20 mins northwest of the CBD, however the majority of our clients are based in central Auckland and north shore suburbs. We provide a pick up / drop off service to over 30 suburbs.

WHAT SUBURBS DO YOUR DAYCARE BUSES GO TO?

We have a fleet of 4 pup buses taking different routes to 30 suburbs on Monday to Friday. Please view the current list of suburbs here.

DO I NEED TO BE AT HOME WHEN THE PUP BUS ARRIVES?

No, as we look after busy families nearly all our parents aren’t home when we pick up and drop off, we are all police checked and entrusted with keys to homes.

HOW EXPERIENCED ARE YOUR HANDLERS?

Combined our team has over 65 years of experience working with dogs in a professional capacity.

WHAT SORT OF BUSES DO MY DOGS TRAVEL IN?

We have a brand new fleet of fully custom, specially designed vans for your dogs safety and comfort. Please view our pup busses here.

WHAT TIME CAN I EXPECT PICK UP/DROP OFF?

We will discuss all of this with you and if there are ever any changes we always let you know. As an example your dog would be picked up between 8am - 9am and dropped home between 2:30pm - 4.00pm depending on what day of the week. Some days there are more dogs than others, Monday and Friday for example there are always fewer dogs as people have had time with them at weekend, but also Friday Auckland traffic can be a nightmare! Some days there are more dogs to get cleaned down, if it’s wet it takes more time to get them clean.

CAN I PICK UP AND DROP OFF TO THE FARM?

Absolutely! Enquire for pick up and drop off times.

HOW ARE DOGS GROUPED/SEPARATED?

Dogs are split into three main-stream groups:

Smalls (Knee height and under)
Mediums (Over the knee)
Actives (Those pawty animals)

Three special needs groups:

Puppies (The youngest at school is 12 weeks. They need rest for growing bones and manners)
Seniors (Eldest at school is 19. As we have been going so long, 30% of our client base are 13 years plus. They are getting older so benefit from more gentle exercise and the pool is great for joints)

Special Needs (Might be shyer, or maybe nursing health considerations)

HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU TAKE FOR DAYCARE

We are a very small service by industry standards and look after a very small number of dogs. Many of our competitors look after 80-240 dogs a day in concrete warehouses. Our staff to dog ratio is approx 6 dogs to 1 handler.

DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE VACCINATED?

Yes, your dog needs to be up to date with all vaccinations and also flea/tick/worm treatments.

MY DOG NEEDS MEDICATION. CAN YOU ADMINISTER THIS?

Yes, depending on what is required, but please let us know about medical problems before you arrive and when you come for your tour and complimentary day.

WHY DO YOU HAVE AN ORIENTATION FOR DOGS?

To ensure you and your dog are happy and that we are a good fit for your family and the other families in our care. As a bespoke daycare, we have a number of measures in place to keep all new and existing dogs happy and safe. This means, ensuring that any new pups are given the chance to settle into their new second home. Each dog's behaviour is monitored closely by our specialists on their first day for assessment. This means that we can keep our premises, as a safe and healthy second home for our guests.

Can i contact any current clients for references?

Many of our current clients have said they are more than happy to be contacted if need be to provide a reference for our service. Please ask and we will be happy to provide details. We also have reviews on Facebook and Google! A decent amount too, considering how small we are!
